Everything You Need to Know About Windows 11
Share
Microsoft has just declared a fully virtual event for 24 June 2021, “Join Us to See What is Next
for the Windows.” The event will start at 11 am Eastern Time and 5 pm CET. The Chief Product Officer and the Microsoft CEO named Satya
Nadella, will be giving the presentations.
At the start, a lot of people considered it to be the update for Windows 10 latest update named
the Sun Valley. It turns out the changes made will form the actual backbone of Windows 11.
Early Leaks of Windows 11
There was also an early leak of Windows 11 made on 15 June, and it was the first officially made
statement. Another announcement like this just solidifies the fact.
However, you might want a few months for the operating system to get officially rolled out to
the users. The WIP or the Windows Inside Program exhibits the chance of earlier success.
However, these are usually built up and come with more errors. Most people should not be
installing them on their computers for their main use.
Cost of Windows 11
We have grown accustomed to the free feature updates since the launch of Windows 10, but it
could be possible that the Windows 11 story is different. As there will be a new version coming
off the operating system, you might be expected to pay some fee for getting it on your existing
platform. This is how much it would cost you to get an upgrade to Windows X:
- Windows X Home – 139 USD
- Windows X Pro – 199.99 USD
- Windows X Pro for Workstation – 309 USD
Of course, just after the launch of Windows 11, you might expect different PCs and laptops to
run on the operating systems, negating the requirement of a separate purchase.
Features of Windows 11
- A better visual haul
- New taskbar that moves icons
- Newly designed Start menu
- Customizable pinned icons
- 4000 percent reduced sound
Final Thoughts
The Sun Valley Windows project was first revealed in late 2020, but it had many different
features which were expected to be in the new update of Windows 10. With the June 24
announcement, people begin anticipating the arrival of Windows 11. It is almost certain with the
leak that the new Windows is finally on the scene.
